Money Matters

School Meals

School lunch can be booked online at a costs of £2.20 per day. Payments should be made online at the time of booking via PretMail, this is our preferred method of payment. If you need to make payments by cash or cheque, these should be sent into the  school office in a sealed envelope clearly marked with your child's name, the amount enclosed and a description of what the payment relates to for example School lunch, Breakfast Club etc. Please make cheques payable to Tyne Community Learning Trust.

Voluntary contributions

When organising school trips or visits which enrich the curriculum and educational experience of the children, the school invites parents to contribute to the cost of the trip. All contributions are voluntary. However if we do not receive sufficient voluntary contributions, we may have to cancel a trip. If a trip goes ahead, it may include children whose parents have not paid any contribution.

All education during school hours is free. We do not charge for any activity undertaken as part of the National Curriculum with the exception of individual or group music tuition and swimming lessons. Due to our  small school budget, a charge is made towards the cost of swimming tuition and the transport to the swimming pool. The school subsidies a proportion of the cost.

The school can provide information on how activities are funded on request.

Additional activities organised by the school, may require voluntary contributions from parents. These activities are known as ‘enrichment activities’.

Please contact the school office if you need any additional information or to discuss anything further.
